This citrus fruit from Kashmir, cultivated for 3,000 years, belongs to the Rotaceae family. It first appeared in Europe during the Muslim conquests in the Middle Ages before the Portuguese and Spaniards brought it to America.

Characterized by its acidity, the Lemon of Syracuse is recognized for its medicinal properties, its fresh and invigorating scent. It helps to:

"Each candle is made according to ancestral know-how and in an artisanal way in our workshop in Normandy; their fragrance comes from a mixture of natural and synthetic raw materials. Since 2022, all of our candles and botanical palets are formulated with a 100% vegetable wax based on organic rapeseed.
To limit the environmental impact of the packaging, no plastic or superfluous packaging is used. Carrière Frères chooses to favor a natural approach with boxes made of 100% recycled and recyclable FSC paper, labels made of FSC paper (40% recycled) and printing using vegetable-based inks.
- Trim wicks to 1/4 inch with each use.
- Place the candle on a heat resistant surface
- Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the candle each time you use it to prevent tunneling.
- Keep candles away from drafts to ensure a clean , smokeless burn .
- Stop burning a candle when less than a quarter inch of wax remains.
