Its origin is uncertain, but it is probably due to a very old cross between two species of mint. From the Lamiaceae family, spearmint is a perennial plant known for its intense and subtle aroma characteristic of the souks and palaces of North Africa.
Its herbaceous aroma is slightly spicy, fresh and green. Its intense and subtle fragrance is inseparable from the souks and palaces of North Africa .

"Each candle is made according to ancestral know-how and in an artisanal way in our workshop in Normandy; their fragrance comes from a mixture of natural and synthetic raw materials. Since 2022, all of our candles and botanical palets are formulated with a 100% vegetable wax based on organic rapeseed.
To limit the environmental impact of the packaging, no plastic or superfluous packaging is used. Carrière Frères chooses to favor a natural approach with boxes made of 100% recycled and recyclable FSC paper, labels made of FSC paper (40% recycled) and printing using vegetable-based inks.
- Trim wicks to 1/4 inch with each use.
- Place the candle on a heat resistant surface
- Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the candle each time you use it to prevent tunneling.
- Keep candles away from drafts to ensure a clean , smokeless burn .
- Stop burning a candle when less than a quarter inch of wax remains.
